Description:  Bill Williams, Certified Industrial Hygienist, will discuss all elements of starting a Respiratory Protection Program at your business. Presentation will start with hazard characterization and move into hazard assessments and appropriate controls. In addition, Bill will discuss developing a Respiratory Protection Program including appropriate respirator selection, medical evaluation process, fit testing and training requirements.  Finally, he will make available resources to assist participants with additional or more complex issues that may not be covered and this basic presentation.

About Our Speaker: 

Bill is a Field Associate and Certified Industrial Hygienist with OECS, starting with the company in 2019.  He brings almost 30 years of Environmental Engineering, Industrial Hygiene and Safety experience including: Risk management and program compliance, occupational and environmental hazard analysis & control and development and staff instruction of specialized operational and compliance training.  Bill has a Master of Science Degree in Industrial Engineering and is certified by the American Board of Industrial Hygiene.
