Robyn Litke Sall - Cass County Public Health - Opioid Overdose Response Training
Description:
By the end of this training, participants will be able to identify what puts a person at higher risk for an opioid overdose, know how to recognize an opioid overdose, and know how to effectively respond to an opioid overdose, including the administration of Narcan nasal spray. They will also be familiar with relevant North Dakota laws permitting individual use of naloxone and know how to access naloxone and other resources.
About Our Speaker:
Robyn Litke Sall has been an injury and substance use prevention coordinator for Fargo Cass Public Health for 24 Years. Currently, she coordinates the Substance Use Prevention, Treatment and Recovery Services Grant, which focuses on underage drinking prevention, and the State Opioid Response Grant, which provides Cass County ND with funding for prevention, harm reduction, treatment, and recovery services for Opioid and Stimulant Use Disorders. In this role, she instructs opioid overdose response and naloxone administration training, and works to increase access to naloxone throughout the community.
Robyn is co-coordinator of the Red River Recovery Initiative Coalition and Vice President of Valley Triad. She has completed Substance Abuse Prevention Skills Training, is a trained CRAFT facilitator, and a certified Defensive Driving Instructor for the National Safety Council.
